What a blessing it was to capture this time in a special friend's life last year. This was a different shoot from usual in that (with the help of an assistant), I did a remote maternity shoot! Who knew this would even be possible? It was great fun, giving posing instructions over the phone and directing the assistant, snapping the photo's through my phone and hers, and editing them! There were some challenges with connectivity, but it was all good fun with loads of laughter. Sometimes, we forget that the simplest things in life are the best, and although I wasn't able to use my DSLR, these memories were captured and can be remembered for years to come! I absolutely cannot wait to visit and see the baby, who will be almost a year old!


I don't regularly do remote photoshoots, but this was a wonderful way to capture memories for a friend who lives so far away!
